On winning, she moved to the next level. We are proud of her hard work, determination and courage to compete against 30 students from Eye Level Franchises all over the United States. 2 students were selected to participate in a MUN camp in Seoul, South Korea from August 9th to 14th and Nishta was one of them. Here is what the Eye Level Newsletter said:
"The online judging for the 2017 Oratacular has come to an end. We are proud to recognize Karthik from Naperville South, IL and Nishta from Katy Cinco Ranch, TX as the selected students from the Oratacular that will attend the Model UN camp in Korea! Congratulations!"
MUN (Model United Nations) is an academic simulation of the United Nations in which students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. While working together to find solutions to the world’s problems, students learn valuable skills such as public speaking, debate, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and leadership.
